i have gimp2.0 and gimp-webp0.1.1_win32

Hi,
I have Windows XP SP2.
I have gimp2.0 and gimp-webp_0.1.1_win32

I cannot however get webP option in GIMP.

What should I be doing?

Kindly guide me.

The plugin should work also with 2.6 (at least is what the author wrote ) you will need the 32bit version

Gimp 2.6.12 not Gimp 2

Hi,

I will correct myself. It is Gimp 2.6.12 that I have. Gimp 2.8 requires XP SP3 version, which I do not have. I have Windows XP.

I believe Gimp 2..6.12 will also enable me to get webP.

Kindly tell me how to get webP.

If you have gimp 2.0 then is outdated from more then a dozen years

So to run modern plugin you should simply install a more recent version of gimp, last stable is 2.8.2
