In addition to being a journalism student at Humber College, Yanis Khamsi is a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Yanis was born in Paris, France, though his parents moved to Canada when he was barely a year old. Yanis has lived in several Canadian cities, though mostly in Ottawa and the GTA. He discovered jazz music in the middle of a tumultuous adolescence and has never looked back. When he is not working on new material or doing schoolwork, Yanis is pursuing his passion for writing about music and hopes to someday inherit Studio Q.
