Foss Maritime Hybrid Tugs

AKA, in collaboration with their Hybrid Technology partner, XeroPoint Energy, was contracted by Foss Maritime to provide the propulsion and control systems for the world’s first hybrid tug the Carolyn Dorothy. The project incorporated a combination of diesel engines, electric motors, generators and electrical storage.

Sedco 706/702 - Transocean DP2 Class Semi-Submersibles

AKA was sub-contracted by Siemens Oil and Gas to provide our Advanced Generator Protection system, the 125VDC UPS and Monitoring System for the 11kV Main Switchboard, Thruster PLC, CAT Panels,and SIPLINK controllers, essentially handling the entire Siemens electrical work scope on the Sedco 706.
