AIE Projects

Howdy! Welcome to the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) project's main page! Before graduating from high school in 2018, I needed to figure out where my next step in life would take me. I've had some experience/knowledge with game development from the DigiPen Video Game Programming (AP) course at the Puget Sound Skills Center. Luckily, there was a chance for me to continue my education and learn more about game development, the Academy of Interactive Entertainment. This section is dedicated to all the games, projects, and prototypes that I've had the pleasure and opportunity of making and/or contributing to from my enrollment in 2018, to 2020.

The Faded Grove

The final project I have gotten to work on from my enrollment at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment. My role for this project was as a Audio/Game Programmer.

Artificial Intelligence for Games

April - May 23rd, 2019 (Released)

Learning about the process of artificial intelligence through the instance of creating instances of agents, who can flee/pursue/or wander and pathfinding.

Code Design and Data Structures

October - December 7th, 2018 (Released)

Improving/optimizing by understanding and using different types of containers, lists, to better help manage and organize code.

Complex Game Systems

November - Janurary 10th, 2020 (On hold)

Creating a complex system and implementing it into a game. A random procedurally generated dungeon crawler, or more of an attempt is the goal for this project.

Elevated Conflict

May - May 16th, 2019 (Released)

The first opportunity, to work with the artist and game design/production classes to create a game. My role for this project was as a Game Programmer (AIE's Alphabet Jam 2019 submission).

Introduction to C++

August - September 28th, 2018 (Released)

Re-introduction into C++, through understanding the basic concepts. Arrays, Classes, Pointers, Strings, were some of the topics learned during the course of the subject.
