"where are you"

A 23-year-old Iowan by the name of Cora Okonski disappeared 16 years ago, in 2000. Investigators believe she was killed.

No one was suspected, but Cora's, Tait Purk boyfriend was with up until the day she disappeared.

The relation between the two wasn't perfect and was often marked by drug use and violence. Even so, both Okonski and Purk were planning to be married in a month.

Purk has been in jail for 14 years because of drug-related crimes, and he denies involvement, saying that she left to get cigarettes and never came back. He reported her disappearance two days after she disappeared. That seems quite short and makes me suspect Purk. Purk probably got mad and killed Okonski, but no assumptions here.
