The College Fund/UNCF awards scholarships primarily to students attending its member colleges/universities (link). Generally, once you receive a UNCF scholarship, it may be renewed if you continue to meet the eligibility requirements and if funds are available. Under no circumstances, however, is the renewal of a UNCF scholarship an automatic process. Students typically do not receive more than one UNCF award during an academic year.

UNCF scholarship eligibility criteria:

(a) Attend a UNCF college or university; (member colleges/universities (link))

(b) Be nominated by the financial aid director at the college;*

(c) Have a minimum grade point average of 2.5;

(d) Have an unmet financial need as verified by the Financial Aid Director;

(e) Complete a Financial Aid Form (FAF) or a Family Financial Statement (FFS) and request that the report be sent to the financial aid office at the UNCF college or university where they plan to enroll. http://www.collegeboard.org
