The Peripheral Component Interconnect Express slot, or PCIe slot are the expansion slots found in
the bottom half of the motherboard. These slots do exactly as their name implies, they allow for
additional components, or expansions to be installed onto the motherboard. These include the GPU,
network cards, and audio cards. There are four different bus lengths, x16, x8, x4, and x1.
With the length of the bus increasing the capabilities of the bus, which can be observed in the image to left.
