Developer Client Restrictions

Field Descriptions
Field	Scope	Description
Allowed IPs (comma separated)	Store View	Creates a whitelist of IP addresses that can use developer tools on a live site, without interfering with customers in the store. Any changes to the site when using a developer tool such as Inline Translation, are visible only from the IP addresses on the whitelist.

Debug

Profiler	Store View	When enabled, places a small link at the bottom of the page with the following information: Memory usage: real: 17563648, emalloc: 16797536

Template Settings

Field Descriptions
Field	Scope	Description
Allow Symlinks	Store View	Enabling Symlinks can expose your site to security risks, and is not recommended for a live store.

Translate Inline

Field Descriptions
Field	Scope	Description
Enable for Frontend	Store View	Activates the Translate Inline tool for the storefront. The interface text can be edited for each store view. To use the inline translator without interfering with the live store, add your IP address to the Developer Client Restrictions whitelist.
Enable for Admin	Global	Activates the Translate Inline tool for the Admin. Unlike the storefront, the Admin cannot be translated into multiple languages. However, the field labels and other text in the interface can be changed.

Log Settings

Enabled	Store View	Determines is a system log is generated and saved on the server. Options include: Yes / No
System Log File Name	Store View	The name of the system log file. Default value: system.log File location: `{{base_dir}}/var/log`
Exceptions Log File Name	Store View	The name of the exceptions log file. Default value: exception.log File location: `{{base_dir}}/var/log`
