How can I go up to the main menu?—Japan (M2 EE)

The main menu is at the top of every page with the following options: Getting Started, Products, Marketing, Content, Customers, Sales, Reports, Operations, and Reference. If you click the each of these options, you’ll find a table of contents for the section. The mini TOC in the shaded gray box lists any additional “child” pages related to the current page. There’s a Next link in the upper-right corner of every page, that you can use to page through the content in sequence. You can also use the “jump lists,” which have thumbnail illustrations, links, and a brief descriptions, as “jumping off” places to related topics. |

Where do I enter the Google AdWords conversion script? United States (M2 EE)

To complete the configuration, simply copy the settings from your AdWords script to your Magento store's Google AdWords configuration. Magento uses the information from the configuration to track conversions from the "Success" page that appears after each sale. It is not necessary to copy your Google AdWords script to the "Success" page of your store, because Magento already has the information. |

Why to compile? —Mexico (M1 CE)

The compilation process can improve the performance of a Magento 1.x installation by combining separate include files from various modules into a single file. Before compiling an installation, the following file on the server must be writable: /var/www/html/magento1/latest_ce/includes/config.php. To make changes to a compiled store, you must first disable the compiler. Then after making the necessary changes, enable the compiler, and run the compilation process again. |
Magento 2.x has a different architecture, and the code compiler is not available from the Admin.
